Visit New Zealand's highest mountain and see spectacular scenery on this full-day Queenstown to Christchurch tour via Mt Cook.
Enjoy the opportunity to sample and buy some of the region's delicious fruit at the Jones Family Orchard in Cromwell. Travel on past picturesque Lake Dunstan and over the Southern Alps through the Lindis Pass, the highest point on the South Island state highway network.
Arriving at Mt Cook Village, be inspired by Aoraki Mount Cook, New Zealand's highest mountain and one of the most stunning sights in the South Island. During your time here, choose to explore one of the many short scenic walks in the area and enjoy the view - or alternatively relax with a delicious lunch, take a scenic flight or visit the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre (all extra cost).
Departing Mt Cook Village in the early afternoon, travel through the Mackenzie Country, a remote high country farming area, to beautiful Lake Tekapo. See the famous sheep dog statue built in memory of the hard working mustering dogs of the area, and the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd, built in 1935.
